블래이드 서버를 설치 후 Media Tray 가 인식이 안된다?

블래이드 서버를 설치중이나 설치 후 미디어 트레이가 인식이 안되는 현상

시디롬 교체 , 미디어 트레이 교체 해도 안된다면 아마 미드플래인을 교체 하려고 할것이다.

이전에 반드시 확인 해야할 리테인 팁이 있습니다.

SYMPTOM:                                                       

                                                               

A BladeCenter HS22 blade in a 8677 BladeCenter E chassis with  

the media tray selected may lose connection to media tray      

devices. The blade may hang during Operating System (OS)       

install or when booting a live CD environment.                 

                                                               

It may also lose access to the CD or DVD drive after the OS is 

running.                                                        

           

뭐 일반 위 장비만된다고 되어있지만 H샤시에도 포함이 되는듯 합니다

이방법으로 해결가능합니다.

Change the Universal Serial Bus (USB) settings to 1.1 speed in 

Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI):                  

                                                               

1. Select F1 during system Power On Self Test (POST).          

                                                               

2. Select system settings.                                     

                                                               

3. Select Devices and I/O Ports.                               

                                                               

4. Select USB Ports.                                           

                                                               

5. Modify USB controller 1 to USB 1.1.                         

                                                               

6. Exit and save the settings.                                 

                                                               

If connectivity issues exist after taking those steps, contact 

IBM support.                 

해결이라기 보다는 체크 해볼 부분입니다.

꼭 ~ 이거해도 안된다고 G랄 을 하는 분들이 있어서.. 안되면 어쩔껀데. 이러면 난감하단다.. 일단해보고 말하그라잉.
