To remove the Fan Cage Assembly:
Remove the Side Cover:

1. Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect all power cords and external cables.
2. Unlock the side cover if required, press the cover-release latch down while rotating the top edge of the cover away from the server and then lift the cover off the server and set it aside.

Remove the Hot-swap Power Supply:

1. Disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
2. While pressing the release latch to the left, pull the power supply out of the bay.
3. Use the same procedure to remove the second power supply if required.
4. Place the system on its right side. This is the recommended Service Position

Remove the Air Baffle:

1. Lift the power-supply cage handle and then rotate the power-supply cage assembly up until latched in the service position.
2. Press the air baffle release latch and then lift the air baffle from the serve

Remove the Fan Cage Assembly:

1. Press the fan cage release latches toward the sides of the server. The fan cage will lift up slightly when the release latches are fully open.
2. Grasp the assembly and lift it out of the server.

To install the Fan Cage Assembly:

1. Place the fan-cage assembly into the server, using the guides on the fan cage and the release latches for alignment and press in until latched in place.
   
   Note: Before installing the Fan Cage assembly insure that all cables are routed correctly in there retainers.

Install the Air Baffle:

1. Place the air baffle into the server using the positioning pins on the air baffle and the locating holes in the server and fan-cage assembly for alignment, and then press down until latched in place.
2. Press the locking tab to release the power supply cage and then rotate the cage into the server and lower the handle.
   
   Note: use care to ensure that the power cables are routed so they are not pinched when closing the cage.
   
   
3. Improper routing, as shown, here will cause damage to the cables.
4. Return the server to its normal operating position.

Install the Hot-swap Power Supplies:

1. Slide the Power Supply into the bay until secured by the latch.
2. Use the same procedure to install the second power supply if required.
3. Connect the power cord to the power supply.

Install the side Cover:

1. Position the channel on the cover over the rail on the bottom edge of the chassis..
2. Rotate the cover toward the chassis and then press down on the cover release latch and close the cover.
3. Lock the side cover if required.
